COOL BLOG DESIGNS - PROCESS

I told one of my designer that I will email him what I like and how I want my new blog to be designed. Instead of emailing though, I figured ill post it on my blog so others can use it as a reference for their blogs.

I like the break points on this one. I also like the side menu except I would want the icons to the social media to be there as well - http://slatetheme.tumblr.com/

I like the search bar (which is missing from my blog), I like the icons next to the post, I like the description tag below it but it can definitely stand out more. I like the idea of how he seperated side menu and his blog, but I think the middle carbon fiber look is too hard of a transition. I guess what I like most is that the side menu stays static while the blog is dynamic. I like his subscribe via RSS button even though it could stand out more, show the followers from Feedburner (which is supported by Tumblr). I like the iPhone calendar icons, I also like the <3 icon but I would prefer the Facebook Like button instead me. I kind of like the tags he has below each post -http://fluidtest.tumblr.com/

I love how mailchimp makes their blog really easy to share without going inside of it. Def. implement the like button, send button, and twitter button. I also love how they have the subscribe button stand out and its the first thing on the top side menu. - http://blog.mailchimp.com/

Love the header on this, specifically check the Feedburner icon (which Tumblr supports). I also like thier posted time stamp as well as how many comments it has http://www.fubiz.net/
