After installation and evaluation of more open source e-commerce solutions than I care to count, including Volusion, Big Commerce and Magneto, I was ready to throw my hands up in frustration. One more Google search brought up the name Shopping Cart Elite, and I am thankful it did. I did not consider the product initially, as I was looking for a solution that I could install on my own hosted servers. The cost vs. offering within some of the other products out there is just astronomical, and this is by far the only one in its class that I have found within the average individuals budget. With Skype, you are in contact immediately; and the remote support, which I have used more than once, is just outstanding. If you have any questions you need answers, just ask and they will do everything humanly possible to resolve your issues.

You have the ability to manage the look and feel, insofar as the color scheme, which was designed so the novice user could pick it up rather easily. They have a great tutorial section, which is available at your fingertips within the client application. They also feature short instructional videos, which you must take the time to view to get a proper understanding of what this product entails, so that you can speed your implementation progress.

Again, there are many applications out there, but to make an informed decision you must take the time to evaluate them. Shopping Cart Elite for me has been hands down the best choice out of all the ones I have evaluated.

Our small automotive company was looking to update our slow and clumsy category-based website. We desperately needed a Year, Make, and Model lookup for the products we sell. Let me tell you something, finding a company that has this feature at an affordable price is not easy.
