When customers first consider using Shopping Cart Elite for their online business, they see it as operating a Boeing 727 Airplane. Customers have a presumption of what it will take to learn how to operate and fly a Boeing 727, but in most cases they under estimate the amount of work it will require to master it. Getting a Boeing 727 off the ground, through the air and landing it on the ground is not an easy task. Last year 25% of customers who signed up for a trial, abandoned it before even trying to take off from the ground. After surveying many of them on why they didn't move past the trial, most customers responded that the software was too complicated, and they couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Our executive team agreed that the software is not as complicated as it seems to be at a first glance. It only takes about 5 hours to master it. Shopping Cart Elite is very sophisticated software, and regardless of how easy we try to make it, it remains to be complex because it needs to be that way to automate your business. An ecommerce solution can be automated, and your business will succeed, or it can be easy to use, and your business will never take off from the ground.
Many of our customers who process fifty or more orders per day ask us for more complexity and more features to be added to Shopping Cart Elite. The overwhelming feeling you may experience when using Shopping Cart Elite for the very first time is a common feeling among new customers, but you will overcome it once you master it.
We want you to succeed, and we want to add your business to our extensive portfolio of successful companies who use Shopping Cart Elite. Weve built awesome automated tools for our customers, and now it is your turn to use them in your business. Zig Zaggler once said, "Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street", and now that weve prepared you for the roller coaster ride, fasten your seat belt and don't fall out of your cart!

Cache originally meant to hide something, usually in the ground. In computer terminology "Cache" is a specialized form of computer memory. It can also refer to other types of storage. The purpose is to prioritize and hold copies of different type of data. It is usually faster to retrieve this type of data than go to the original information. If you do a Google search you will usually see a blue Cached after the web site name, as shown below.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
For example if Google is unable to find a web site when you click the link, then it will display the last time it took a snapshot of the web site page. This means that what you are viewing may not be an exact copy of how the page looks right now.
WHY DOES SHOPPING CART ELITE USE CACHE?
A tradeoff must always be made between speed/performance and costs. By using different types of cache SCE is able to lower the cost of your web sites. If every change you made were instantly visible on your web site, then even more expensive servers would be required, which would in turn raise everyone's cost.
This tradeoff means that when a visitor arrives at your web site, they will see a snapshot from cache and not necessarily the latest changes you have made from the back office.
WHEN IS THE CACHE UPDATED?
Have you ever wondered why some changes you make in the back office take a different amount of time, than other changes?
SCE uses different types of cache and they are updated at different times. This is based on careful analysis on how important different changes are, and how fast they must be displayed. The following charts will show you the major caches and what they contain and when updated.
