You think Link Exchange is simple your Wrong!

I was forwarded an email to see what I think about it, here is what the email said:

How would you like 10 EDU blogs on high
authority US University domains? Yup, thats
right, TEN EDU blogs you can run YOURSELF and
place your backlinks and articles at will, to
get your rankings sky-high?

There are thousands of high authority University
domains in the USA. Some of these universities run
multi-user sites which allow you, a member of the
public, to sign up free and run your very own,
personal blog on their site, kinda like Blogger.com.
You can go in, sign up and run your own blog

BUT edu domains are maybe 100 or even 1,000 times more
powerful for propelling you site to the top of Google
than blogger is!

OK then, so why dont all the SEO guys do this?

Truth is, they do! At least, the ones who know!
But until now this has been the closely guarded
territory of the really sophisticated SEO experts.

I have tested .edu links as well as many others including forum profiles links, social backlinks, etc. and I have come to a conclusion.

Everything sounds easy but it is far from easy when it comes to executing it and seeing results. Afterall if it was easy, wouldnt everyone who is doing link exchanges get massive results and then the whole world would be doing it?

I am sure it was like that at one point 10 years ago.

Off-site optimization has the same complexity as On-site optimization. For example if you use Shopping Cart Elite you know that onsite optimization where you perform SEO on your website can be really time consuming. Just because you have a great Shopping Cart with all the SEO tools and its SEO friendly. You still need to write unique content, optimize based on our SEO tool, etc.

Well with Off-site optimization getting a link does not end there. You must ensure that the link you got gets indexed and ranked. So for every link you do, you must double SEO it.

This means you can have a link on the .edu website but that also means nothing if you dont ensure its indexing in Google. You must work on indexing the .edu link to get the full benefit from it. No one will be doing this work for you and if you depend on luck or random Google indexing, well then you should not expect to get high rankings any time soon. (Maybe one day)

So yes these .edu will work as well as any other links you get ONLY if you are going to one way link them after they are online and make sure they get indexed in Google.
