1QuickBooks ItemsLaunch the QuickBooks Desktop app and choose your Company. Open Lists > Item List screen SCE-EDF-QuickBooks integration requires to have the next products: To create new Item click Item > New 2QuickBooks AccountsGo to Lists > Chart of Accounts And create the next account: Go to Customers > Customer Center > New Customer > Define Fields, enter SCEOrderID, check Cust checkbox, hit OK and close New Customer window. 3SCE > EDFAll accounts from the "products sync" section are going to be mapped to all inventory items, which will be submitted to QuickBooks. Custom Items - Parent Item is used as a parent item for custom items from SCE orders. Therefore, all custom items from SCE will be subitems of the Parent Item. Custom Items - Income Account is used for custom items from SCE orders. therefore, all custom items from SCE will be mapped to this account. It's not necessary to create a separate account for this purpose. Any other income account can be used instead. Default qty - will override inventory qty value for all items, which will be loaded from SCE on products sync tab. Any adjustment/discount/shipping from SCE order will be submitted to QuickBooks as a separate item (which is chosen in settings in the orders sync section accordingly) Locate and Start QBdesktop.edf file to get started. Browse Company File in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Company Files\ Launch the QuickBooks app again and confirm the access request Go back to EDF and choose the field which you're going to use as part number in QuickBooks, Default Qty, Income Account, COGS/Expense Account, Inventory Asset Account. Choose Adjustment Item, Discount Item, Shipping Item, Custom Items - Income Account, Custom Items - Parent Item, QBOrderID Custom Field. It's required to create two sales tax items in QuickBooks: the real one and the one with 0 percentage, afterwards choose the tax items in EDF. Check Upload to FTP and Our FTP and check the connection 4Product SyncOpen Product Sync tab and hit Load from SCE Mark Import column checkboxes next to each product you want to import to QuickBooks and press Import to QB button 5Order SyncOpen Order Sync tab and hit Load from SCE Mark Import column checkboxes next to each order you want to import to QuickBooks and press Import to QB button 6Inventory SyncOpen Inventory Sync tab and hit Load from SCE QB Qty column data will be copied to Shopping Cart Elite Inventory database. Check Update QB Inventory checkbox to copy SCE Qty column data to QuickBooks Inventory database. Mark Update column checkboxes next to each record you want to import to QuickBooks and press Overwrite/Update Inventory button 7Inventory FileTo save QuickBooks Inventory into a file, go to QB Inventory tab and hit Load.
Press Upload to FTP or Save as to either upload file to public FTP link, or save the file on your computer. 8ScheduleChoose Schedule item on the left menu, check Enable Schedule checkbox, press + on the bottom and set up the schedule rules. Description field should always be filled out with the appropriate type: - SyncOrders - uploads orders.
