Creating new Google Shopping feed

SFTP SERVER SETUP INSIDE GOOGLE MERCHANT ACCOUNT:

Inside the Google Merchant account Go to : Settings > SFTP / GCS > SFTP settings

Create SFTP server, Take note of the "Server", "Port", "Username" and "Password" information, you will need them for SCE Google Shopping feed setup.

PRODUCT AND INVENTORY FEEDS SETUP INSIDE GOOGLE MERCHANT ACCOUNT:

inside the "Products > Feeds > Primary feeds" tab click to create primary feed.

Choose "Country of sale", "Language", "Destinations" and hit "Continue"

Enter the file name, note the file name, it will be needed for SCE Google Shopping feed setup, hit "Create feed"

Inside the "Products > Feeds > Supplemental feeds" tab click to create supplemental feed

Enter the same name as for product feed name, but with "-Inventory" Post fix, choose "Upload" and hit "Continue"

Enter the same name as for product feed file name, but with "-Inventory" post fix and hit "Continue"

Assign supplemental feed to the product feed and hit "Create feed"

Please make sure that the shipping is set for your account, "Settings >> Shipping and returns" tab

ASSIGNING (MAPPING) GOOGLE SHOPPING CATEGORY TO SCE CATEGORY:

Inside the SCE category tab map Google Shopping category value to your categories, "Products > Categories"

Map all needed categories.

SCE PRODUCT PREPARATION FOR GOOGLE SHOPPING SUBMITTING:

Inside the product open "Marketplace fields", scroll to the top left and enter "FALSE" value for "identifier exists" to avoid GTIN errors in future

Otherwise, enter identifier number for "GTIN" and leave "identifier exists" blank

Repeat Process for all products that you wish to submit to google Shopping

SCE GOOGLE SHOPPING FEED SETUP

open marketplace tab, "Marketplace >> Manage Marketplaces"

Create Google Shopping feed, hit "New Feed > Pay Per Click > Google Shopping"

Configure feed & save the feed

Inside the feed settings navigate to "Filters" and set the filters up

Inside the feed settings navigate to "Products" and choose to submit all or selected products

PRODUCT SUBMISSION:

Once everything is done, hit "Force Submit > New Products" button

and your Google Shopping Feed will be submitted to google for listing

Wait until feed generates and uploads the product and inventory feeds, there will be notes on the feed log area

Once files are uploaded, check the product status inside your Google Merchant Diagnostics tab
