Adding bundle products using bulk update

Description: Bundle product group few product in one creating a kit/bundle that doesn’t has own price and relays on base-product to count it’s price.
They could be represented as simple/optional/vehicle products.

Simple bundles requires those fields in order to be added
Action, Product Type, Product Title, Anchor Text, Spider URL, allow new brand, Brand, Description, META Description, META Keywords, General Image Tags, General Image, allow new category, Main Category, Sub Category, Supplier, Re-Order Supplier, Processing Time, Shipping Type, Shipping Carrier 1, allowground, Part Number, MSRP, Jobber, Web Price, Cost Price, Item Weight, Item Height, Item Width, Item Length, Shipping Weight, Shipping Height, Shipping Width, Shipping Length.

Bundles with options requires those fields in order to be added

Preparing spreadsheet

In addition to the fields that required for product type you choose for bundle you need to fill Part Number Dependancies field based on the product information.

Field structure is organized in this way:

  • 1 - Product ID of product that you want to link as part of bundle
  • 2 - Part number (it can be skipped if you add simple products to the bundle)
  • 3 - Quantity for this product
  • 4 - Discount Size
  • 5 - Discount Type(7 - flat price, 6 - percent of current price)
  • 6 - Product Type( 1 - Simple, 2 - Optional, 3 - Vehicle)
  • | - separates those attributes between them
  • ^ - separates products

Product ID can be found at export or in the product edit last column after clicking details.

After you prepare a spreadsheet you need to save it in CSV-format.
