Automated RMA

Description: Automate RMA procedures based on some settings and rules.

To activate Automatic RMA Feature you must configure or setup RMA settings first to Automatically approved RMA for exchange or Returns or Store credit. You can also make the return label free or paid by customer.

Activate RMA Settings

Go to Settings > Returns

You can set basic rules to activate settings for RMA in top part of window, and set activating rules for automatic RMA approval and offering return label for RMA returns or exchanges in bottom part of window

To activate RMA return labels, you will need to integrate either UPS or FedEx to generate return labels

Go to Settings > Shipping > Shipping credentials > UPS
or to Settings > Shipping > Shipping credentials > FedEx

Once the item has been shipped and received by the customer only then RMA can initiated from the front end and once request it will land in the Orders > Returns Screen

For the customer to request a RMA they will need to login to their order and in order search type their order # and find the order information once that is there they can request a RMA.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE SHIPPING LABELS ACTIVATED FOR RMA THEY WILL BE AUTO GENERATED AND A LINK WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE CUSTOMER ON THE LAST STEP FOR THE UPS OR FEDEX RETURN LABELS THAT THE CUSTOMER CAN USE FOR SHIPPING BACK THE ITEM.
